ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE

School of The Arts offers an Artists in Residence programme for artists, curators, academics and people from various creative fields within the arts to explore their works here in Penang. This programme gives time and space to fellow creatives to work outside their home-universities or institutions. We welcome creatives from the industry and the academic world both - local and international - to join us in enriching your experience in the arts and also to produce collaborative masterpieces with our people. Artists in residence are encouraged to teach, give talks, workshops and master classes to students and the general public who are interested. Artists in residence are paid and your term can last anytime from one to two years depending on the terms and conditions set by School of The Arts and USM.
