Celebrating 25 Years of Artistic Excellence at Arts USM Gala Dinner!
The theme "The Garden of Memories" suggests a nostalgic and perhaps elegant atmosphere. It could be a wonderful evening to reminisce about the arts program at USM, reconnect with fellow alumni or arts supporters, and celebrate its achievements over the past quarter-century.
We gather to celebrate a momentous occasion: the 25th anniversary of The Arts Centre (Pusat Seni) at USM. Established in 1999 as the School of The Arts, this institution has blossomed into a vibrant hub of creativity, nurturing artistic talent and shaping generations of exceptional graduates.
From its humble beginnings, The Arts Centre has grown to encompass a diverse range of programs, from Graphic Communication and Fine Arts to Music and Performance. With a steadfast commitment to academic excellence and a cross-disciplinary approach, the Centre equips its students with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking necessary to thrive in an ever-evolving creative landscape.
Tonight, we not only celebrate the achievements of School of The Arts, but also pay tribute to the incredible school, staff, alumni, students and the art community who have been instrumental in its success. Their dedication, expertise, and unwavering passion have nurtured a dynamic community of artists, designers, and performers, leaving an indelible mark on the artistic landscape of Malaysia.
