Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) Acting and Directing
The Acting and Directing programme is a 4 years course specialsing in Acting, Directing and Scenography. The programme is a combination of theory and practice focusing in history of theatre, Asian Theatre, western theatre, modern and traditional theatre. Apart from these, students are also taught Art Therapy and community theatre as mediums for community engagement. The aim of this programme is to produce thinking and critical actors, directors and art scholars through performances, research, dialogues, art forums and creative arts industry and community engagement.

Admission Requirements
Minimum entry requirements to all programmes are Malaysian Higher School Certificate of Education and Malaysian Certificate of Education with a credit pass in Bahasa Malaysia. Applicants with previous professional / industrial experience may be accepted in lieu of some, or all, of the formal academic requirements.
As for the international students, academic qualifications which are considered to be equivalent will be placed into consideration. Applicants will be advised on the matter.
STPM with PNGK 2.00, MUET-band 2, interview & audition, art & design portfolio (to be reviewed during interview), matriculation with PNGK 2.00 (for applicants from matriculation programme only), diplomas with PNGK 2.00 that are recognized by the university senate (for applicants from diploma programme only) AND pass the USM interview.

Semester Fees
RM1620.00. per-semester (recurring fees). The duration of all programmes are 8 semester.
