Personal Statement
Nurul Hanim Romainoor is a Senior Lecturer and is currently holding the position as the Head of Department of Graphic Communication at School of The Arts, Universiti Sains Malaysia. She is a researcher and an educator. Her research interests are Graphics/Design Research, Typography and future technology. In class, she coaches students to understand Graphic Design elements & principles. She has experiences working in the industry as a Multi-Media Graphic Designer. She designs from book covers to UI/UX Website. She gained design management skills through attending a short course on Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) in 2006 with a certificate, which required her to lead the Creative Team in the production of interactive CD-ROM.

Mr Goh Chu Hiang
Personal Statement
Goh Chu Hiang is a senior lecturer in the Graphic Communication Department, School of The Arts, USM. He is an experienced lecturer with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry and design research. He is a trained art and design educator, graphic designer and interactive designer with a Msc in Information Technology from the School of Computer Science, USM. He was among the pioneer participants in Malaysia to the distinguished NNg User Experience Conference in Las Vegas, USA in 2007. He was the head of design department from 2007-2009 and involved in various research projects under the USM’s Apex and Research University grants since 2009.
Research Interest:
Cross-Cultural Studies, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, User Interface Design, User Experience, User Personas Studies, Design Practice and Research.

Dr. Muhizam Mustafa
Personal Statement
Muhizam Mustafa joined Graphic Communication Department, School of the Arts, Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2009 as a senior lecturer after 4 years teaching stint with the Visual Communication and Interior Architecture department with Birmingham City University, United Kingdom. This include teaching experiences in Silpakorn International University Bangkok and IVE Hong Kong university. His background in architecture and art has led him to pursue a research on the public art in the urban environment and its impact on social inclusion. He completed his PhD from Birmingham Institute of Art & Design with his thesis titled ‘Public Art in Malaysia: A Case Study of Putrajaya’. Currently Muhizam is the director to the International Mobility and Collaboration Centre (IMCC-USM) at Universiti Sains Malaysia.

Dr. Rasslenda is a lecturer in the Graphic Communication Department, School of The Arts, USM. She completed her Ph.D. in Instructional Strategies in Designing an Emotionally Sound Web-based Instruction from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2019, Dr Rasslenda’s research activities focus upon Educational Technology, Emotions and Learning, Human-Computer Interaction and User Interface Design. Her current focus is on Educational Technology and Gamification.
