Qualifications
BFA (Hons)from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) (2002).
MA in Drawing at Camberwell College of Art, UAL (2008)
Professional Doctorate in Fine Art from University of East London (2012)
Personal Statement
My creative practices are informed by my surroundings. I am interested with matters concerning women especially the roles they assume in life. These roles are interconnected with personal spaces which sometimes coincide. Objects and activities related to these spaces become subjects in my art practice. I am also intrigued with materiality of acrylic pigment and floral forms which both bear their own visual seduction. I often marry these beguiling characteristics strategically and randomly.
